Instructions
1
Create a boomerang leg pattern. A boomerang is made with three equal legs. The left side of the leg is bent slightly inward, while the right side of the leg is bent slightly outward. Each leg should be identical, so trace one leg to use as a pattern for the other legs.
2
Cut your boomerang leg pattern out.
3
Trace your boomerang outline. On a thick piece of paper, like card stock or an empty cereal box, trace the body of the boomerang using your boomerang leg pattern from Step 1. Use a ruler to make sure that each leg is equidistant from the next.
4
Cut out the boomerang body. Using scissors, remove the traced boomerang from the paper, being careful to stay on the lines so as not to change the shape of the traced outline.
5
Fold your edges. Each of the boomerangs legs should turn at slight angle to the left. Using this upward bend as a guide, fold the tip to make an edge, by folding along the dotted red line. This edge will help the aerodynamics of your boomerangs flight.
